In the past few days, the city of Recklinghausen has seen two separate incidents of break-ins. The Police Headquarters in Recklinghausen has shared updates about these incidents through their official news platform, social media channels, and WhatsApp channel.

On a Tuesday afternoon, unknown suspects forced open the Souterrain window of a single-family house on Elper Straße and made off with jewellery and cash. No description of the perpetrators is available at this time. The police are urging anyone with information about this incident to contact the police hotline at 0800/2361 111. The current status of the investigations regarding the stolen items is unclear.

In a separate incident, unknown suspects broke into a supermarket located on Graudenzer Straße's main entrance between 03:55 AM and an unknown time. The suspects managed to force open the cigarette cabinets and made off with several boxes and packs. The police are also investigating this incident, but no further details have been released yet.
