In the quiet town of Bocholt, Germany, a hit-and-run incident has left authorities searching for answers. On Tuesday, 12th November 2024, at 7:55 AM, a collision occurred at the intersection of Kuckuckstraße/Stenerner Weg.

According to the Kreispolizeibehörde Borken, a 47-year-old man from Bocholt was riding his Pedelec on the bike path of Stenerner Weg towards Herzogstraße. As he approached the intersection with Kuckuckstraße, a young female cyclist, estimated to be between 13 and 15 years old, came from the right. To avoid a potential collision, the man had to make an emergency brake, resulting in minor injuries.

Unfortunately, the young cyclist did not stop after the incident. She continued on her way without checking on the fallen man. The Bocholt Police are now looking for information about this young cyclist who left the scene of the accident.

The Bocholt Police are also appealing for witnesses to come forward.
