Autumn Holiday Workshop: "AI and Folktales" - Imaginative session for children - Occurring from October 20th to 22nd, 2025
Arnsberg is set to host an exciting three-day workshop titled "AI and Fairy Tales" from October 20th to 22nd, 2025. This unique event, organised by Verena Reith in collaboration with city lab freiRAUM and freelance journalist Franziska Reinl, is open to parents, friends, and anyone interested.
The workshop is designed for children aged 9 to 11 and will take place at city lab freiRAUM from 09:30 to 12:00 each day. During this time, children will learn about the structure of fairy tales and their typical features.
A key aspect of the workshop is the introduction of a method called prompting, which will guide the children in developing their own stories. The stories created during the workshop will culminate in a presentation at Arnsberg City Library on October 23rd, 2025, starting at 17:00.
In addition to storytelling, the workshop will also focus on the creative use of AI applications. Children will learn how to create initial illustrations and images for their stories using AI. A small exhibition of these images will also be displayed during the presentation.
The presentation will include the children reading their stories aloud, offering a unique and engaging experience for all attendees. Registration for the workshop is now open via email at freiraum@unserewebsite.
