Autumnal Afternoon Celebration Grows Older in Regensburg's Festival

In the heart of Bavaria, the City of Regensburg and its surrounding county recently came together to celebrate a unique event under the theme "City and Countryside - Hand in Hand."

Organised by officials from the Senior Citizens' Council of the City of Regensburg, the County Administration, and the Mayor's office, the event aimed to foster cooperation and unity between the city and the countryside.

Mayor Gertrud Maltz-Schwarzfischer, County Councilor Tanja Schweiger, and Klaus Steiner, the chairman of the Senior Citizens' Council of the City of Regensburg, welcomed the guests. The trio praised the collaborative efforts between the Senior Citizens' Council and the County Administration.

The event featured musical entertainment by the "Regenstaufer Musicians," providing a lively atmosphere for all attendees. To add to the festivities, there were discounted food and drinks available for everyone to enjoy.

While the specific organisation responsible for the celebration was not explicitly mentioned, a neighbourhood festival with a community engagement theme organised by the GB*Stadtteilmanagement at the Gustav-Holzmann-Platz in Atzgersdorf, Vienna, could be related to such a theme.

The event was primarily organised by the department "Support in Difficult Life Situations - Care Support Point Plus in Regensburg County" at the County Administration.

This event served as a testament to the strong bond between the city and the countryside in Regensburg, encouraging collaboration and community spirit.
