Avneesh Munjal Emerges Victorious, Claiming First APT Trophy at Phu Quoc 2024 High Stakes Poker Tournament

The APT Phu Quoc 2024 series, which started on 8th November and continues until the 17th of this month, saw Munjal lock horns with some of the best players in Asia. The tournament, with a buy-in of VND 6,000,000 and a total prize pool of VND 54,000,000, culminated in a thrilling heads-up battle between Munjal and Mingcong Chen of China.
Munjal's victory in the High Roller - Double Stack tournament marks a career-best for him, as he took home a whopping VND 1.541 billion (~₹51.34 Lakh). Another Indian player, Kunal Patni, also made his mark at the APT Phu Quoc 2024, winning a separate event.
The Asian Poker Tour (APT) was founded in 2006 and has since taken place in various locations across Asia, providing a platform for players to test their skills against the best in the region.
