Award for Latvian Design is bestowed upon architects of charity drive campaign

The event, a showcase of creativity and innovation, awarded prizes across various design categories, with Magic taking home the Grand Prix and a €2,000 prize for their campaign 'Slimība izārda, cerība dziedē!'.
The campaign, which translates to 'Smile, it's a competition!', triumphed in the charity marathon, demonstrating the power of creativity in raising awareness and funds for a worthy cause.
The service design category was a close contest, with the win going to Dores for their 'Māju saime' optimisation and communication design. Authored by Overpriced and Gateris Works, this project stood out for its innovative approach. The environment design category was another highlight, with NRJA taking the victory for their adaptation of the Tobacco Factory for the Latvian Culture Academy.

The competition also saw four honourable mentions, each a testament to the wealth of talent on display.
In a separate category, the digital solution category was won by Asteroid, Mobilly, and ZZ Dats for their renewed E-health portal version.
The Patent Board and JCDecaux also presented their special prizes in the competition.
Lastly, the title of Young Designer was awarded to Zanda Seņkova for her Randevú collection of seating furniture with a hidden BDSM function. This unique and daring design is a testament to Seņkova's innovative spirit and promises an exciting future in the world of design.
