In an unusual turn of events, a large bear named Fuzzy made a sweet visit to an ice cream parlor at Camp Richardson, a 128-acre resort in South Lake Tahoe, California, on August 17. The incident was first reported by the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office on their Facebook page on Tuesday.

Deputies from the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene and found Fuzzy standing behind the counter of the ice cream parlor. Initially, the deputies found it hard to believe their eyes, but upon closer inspection, they identified the intruder as a bear.

Fuzzy, who was later nicknamed by the sheriff's office, showed a clear preference for the sweet treats at the ice cream parlor. He seemed particularly interested in the strawberry ice cream, but fortunately, the bear's visit did not result in any reported attacks or injuries.

Authorities were able to encourage Fuzzy to leave the ice cream parlor, and there was "barely any cleanup" required after his visit. The ice cream shop sustained little damage during the bear's raid.

The sheriff associated with the Camp Richardson event in August 2021 is from the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office. The office shared photos of Fuzzy standing behind the parlor's counter, providing visual evidence of the unusual incident.

However, no further information was provided about how Fuzzy gained access to the ice cream parlor or his current whereabouts.
