Biden's Interview Audio Exposes a Stumbled Prez: Tom Fitton's Take
Biden's losses unveiled in startling Hur audio, as per Jonathan Turley
Get ready to hear some hot takes, folks! Tom Fitton, the fearless author, delves into the leaked audiotapes from Biden's chat with Special Counsel Robert Hur and it ain't pretty.
"For the record, y'all."
These ain't just any leak, they're audiotapes that streetlight Biden's alleged federal crime comittances and imply a political corruption smackdown against the Washington elite, including White House staff, Democratic bigwigs, and the media.
The interview, held from October 8-9, 2023, was a hot commodity for Congress but ultimately hidden by Biden's Justice Department. Even during his re-election campaign, they kept these jewels locked up tight.

Many of us scoffed at Hur's conclusion that no charges were necessary despite Biden's known mismanagement of classified documents for decades, sloppy storage practices, and moving 'em to unsecure locations like his Delaware garage.
Given Trump's indictment for the same offenses, it was tough as hell to fathom how Hur wouldn't slap Biden with criminal charges, post-office, that is.
Instead, Hur deemed it difficult to find a jury capable of convicting Biden since he's apparently a "sentimental, well-meaning, old codger with a memory like a sieve."

Looks like Trump was that old fella's polar opposite, ain't no laughing matter, and he deserved a prosecution. Talk about two different justice systems, huh?
After the report dropped, Biden hit the podium for a face-melting presser where he wheeled out a bundle of lies about his accountability and gave the media a good old-fashioned tongue-lashing for questioning his performance during the interview.
For example, when reporters brought up Hur's contention that Biden had forgotten about his son Beau's demise, Biden went ballistic: "How in the name of Sam Hill would he bring that up?" Frankly, when I heard the question, I thought to myself it wasn't anyone's business."
But it was ol' Biden himself who raised Beau's death, and he fumbled a whole mess of dates, including his time in office.
The interview demonstrates that, in 2023, Biden was clearly in the cognitive dumpster despite allies and former aides' claims of a sudden drop in mental capacity right before the dismal debate in 2024. It's now crystal clear that the White House staff went to great lengths to hide Biden's incompetence from the American public. That includes White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki (who vacated the position in May 2022) and her successor Karine Jean-Pierre, who insisted that Biden was as sharp as a tack and gave her a run for her money.
Of course, once the public has caught wind, the media's been all too eager to report the facts. Figures like CNN's Jake Tapper have even cranked out books about it, despite initially maintaining that there was no proof of cognitive decline. Back then, he even called out Lara Trump for bringing it up.
"Cognitive decline," Tapper scoffed. "I reckon you were mocking his stutter. Yep, that's what I think—you were mocking his stutter and I don't think someone from the Trump family would be known to diagnose politicians from a distance."
Lara Trump, however, rubber-stamped the evidence of a "troubling cognitive decline." Tapper brushed off her statement, saying, "Thanks, Lara, I'm sure it's done with good intentions. We all believe that."
Even over at MSNBC, Joe Scarborough seemed livid at those pointing out cognitive issues and proclaimed:
"Start the tape right now, cowboys, because I'm about to tell you the truth. And you can stick your opinion up your ass if you can't deal with the truth. This version of Biden, intellectually and analytically, is the best Biden has ever been. Not even a close second. And I've known him for years...If it weren't the truth, I wouldn't say it."
This media circus continued all the way up to the debate itself. On CNN.com, Oliver Darcy declared, "Right-wing media figures are pushing conspiracy theories about Biden ahead of the debate."
Once the truth surfaced, the media was ready to sing the song when it became politically incorrect and unfavorable to ignore it. Article after article popped up with, "Hey, hang on! That mental decline you mentioned? Yup, it's real all right."
It was the very same belated realization that came after the election with Hunter Biden's laptop. The media just moved on with a shrug and a collective "meh, our bad."
Regarding Joe Biden himself, the one standout moment in the interview might be the incriminating line where Biden admits, "I guess I wanted to keep it for posterity's sake."
That's exactly what critics slammed Trump for doing: hoarding stuff like trophies or keepsakes.
One president was indicted for that and another sailed to his second term office.
The damning tapes point to a political corruption syndicate in Washington. If there were political RICO crimes, half of Washington would be marching to the nearest federal jailhouse in handcuffs.
Of course, there are no real crimes committed in this racket. It's just the way Washington rolls.
Sooner or later, it'll lead to book deals, ain't no doubt about dat.
