Pangram Secures $3.98 Million in Funding for AI Detection Technology

Pangram, a pioneering AI technology company, has announced it has secured $3.98 million in pre-seed and seed funding. The recent investment round was led by ScOp, with Script Capital, Cadenza, and individual investors joining. Haystack VC, who were lead investors in the initial pre-seed funding round, also participated.

The funding will enable Pangram to continue developing partnerships in higher education institutions, businesses, and media support organisations. The company's technology is considered essential for AI text identification across these sectors.

Pangram's technology is recognised as the most accurate in the market for AI detection. This claim is backed by various independent and university-backed studies, all of which were funded by independent research grants and academic institutions, without direct corporate sponsorship from Pangram. The company has released summaries of four such studies, showcasing its technology's superiority in the market.

Before founding Pangram, Bradley Emi was a machine learning engineer at Tesla, and Max Spero was an AI engineer at Google. Both co-founders hold master's degrees in computer science from Stanford University. Bradley Emi, as Co-Founder and CTO of Pangram, was instrumental in the development of the highly accurate AI detection technology. Max Spero, as Co-Founder and CEO, played a significant role in the successful investment round.

These organisations rely on Pangram to establish the authenticity of news development, product reviews, and other written material. The investors of Pangram are standing with the company as it continues to gain customers and improve its value proposition. With the funding, Pangram will also build on its existing customer and partner base among businesses and media support organisations.

The technology developed by Pangram is proving crucial in addressing AI misuse among students in higher education institutions. The company will continue to focus on this area, as well as expanding its reach across various sectors. The future looks bright for Pangram, as it continues to lead the way in AI detection technology.
