Biker Accelerates Following Impact with an E-Scooter Operator
On September 2, 2025, at 4:30 PM, an unfortunate incident took place on Warendorfer StraΓe in Ahlen. A 14-year-old resident of Ahlen was involved in an accident while riding an e-scooter on the pedestrian/bike path near a supermarket entrance. The accident occurred when the teenager was hit by a cyclist, causing them to fall to the ground.
The cyclist, estimated to be around 40 to 45 years old with dark blonde hair, was operating an olive green bicycle or e-bike. Unfortunately, the cyclist fled the scene immediately after the accident.
The teenager sustained minor injuries in the accident. The Warendorf Police are currently investigating the incident and are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information about the fleeing cyclist to come forward.
