Biker Tumbles on Slick Road Surface Due to Spilled Oil
In the Hochsauerlandkreis region, an unfortunate incident occurred on September 3, 2025, at approximately 14:20. A motorcycle crash took place on road L 685 between Arnsberg and Sundern, near the Ochsenkopf area.
According to the Hochsauerlandkreis Police Department, a truck that was travelling on the same route experienced a mechanical failure, causing it to leak oil onto the road. This oil spill led to the motorcycle accident that followed.
The individual involved in the accident, a 62-year-old resident of Sundern, sustained minor injuries. The police department has confirmed that the cause of the oil spill remains undetermined at this time.
