Board of Directors Set for The Future Is NEUTRAL Organization
New Leadership Appointments at Renault Group and SUEZ
In a series of strategic moves, several key executives have taken on new roles within Renault Group and SUEZ, two prominent companies in the automotive and environmental sectors.
Véronique Sarlat-Depotte, who joined Renault in 1989, has made a significant ascent within the company. In 2021, she became a member of Renault Group's Board of Management and was appointed Secretary General of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance. Later that year, she was also appointed Vice President of Strategic Planning for Renault Group, Vice President of the ReFactory in Flins, and Director of Environmental Strategy. In 2023, Véronique was further promoted to the role of Chief Alliance Officer and joined the Leadership Team.
Meanwhile, Jean-Philippe Bahuaud, a general engineer graduate from ICAM and MBA holder from the London Business School, joined Renault Group at the end of 2018. His career in the manufacturing industry began with the PSA Group. In 2021, Jean-Philippe was appointed Vice President of Strategic Planning for Renault Group, Vice President of the ReFactory in Flins, and Director of Environmental Strategy. A year later, in 2022, he became CEO of The Future Is NEUTRAL.
Notably, in 2020, Jean-Philippe led a team to design "Renaulution," the new strategic plan for Renault Group. His previous international positions include strategy director for Samsung's automotive and semiconductor activities in Korea.
Lyonel Rouve, a graduate of SKEMA Business School, started his career at L'Oréal before joining SUEZ in 2001. He has since risen through the ranks and is now the Managing Director of the Specialized Flows Business Unit at SUEZ. In 2023, he became CEO of this business unit, which operates in dismantling and recycling, particularly plastics and metals.
Throughout her career at Renault and Nissan, Véronique Sarlat-Depotte held various positions in France and Japan. In 2016, she became CEO of the joint purchasing organization between Renault and Nissan. In 2018, she led the integration of Mitsubishi Motors, resulting in the formation of the Alliance Purchasing Organization.
This restructuring within Renault Group and SUEZ is part of a broader trend towards sustainable and strategic growth in both industries.
