"Brandenburg authorities seek Wessis for elimination: 'Compassionate Brandenburg'"
The German state of Brandenburg is running a campaign called "Likeable Brandenburg" to encourage West Germans to relocate. The move is part of a new autumn campaign, aimed at inspiring West Germans to consider Brandenburg as their new home.
The state marketing department of Brandenburg is offering sponsorship for moves to the state, with a budget of one million euros per year. This is an increase from the previous budget of 800,000 euros, reflecting the growing importance of the campaign.

Last year's campaign focused on the typical Brandenburg saying: "You can't complain about that." This year's campaign, titled "Beautiful places don't need beautiful names", continues to highlight the unique charm of Brandenburg.
The campaign aims to position Brandenburg as Germany's top destination for internal migration. Daniel Keller, the Minister of Economics and Labour in Brandenburg, has agreed to help with moving day as part of the campaign.
Companies such as Amazon in Brandenburg, including locations like Dahlewitz and Rangsdorf, are currently hiring and may expect new employees potentially from West German federal states. Educational institutions and schools in Brandenburg are part of a federal campaign to attract skilled workers, particularly educators and childcare professionals.
The "MΓ€rkische Oderzeitung" has reported on this campaign, with positive responses and initial reports from people interested in moving from the old federal states. The campaign titles are changed each year, with different themes and locations highlighted.
