Bruichladdich Introduces a New Collection of Highly Smoky Octomore Scotch Whiskies
Bruichladdich Distillery, located on the Isle of Islay - famous for its smoky whisky - has announced the details of its latest release in the Octomore series. The collection, known for its heavily peated whiskies, is a staple of the distillery's offerings.
The Octomore Series 16 is a unique offering, made from 100 percent Scottish mainland Concerto barley, malted to an impressive 101.4 PPM. This level of peatiness gives the whisky its distinctive smoky flavour, measured in PPM (parts per million).

Octomore Series 16 consists of three different expressions: the Octomore 16.1, 16.2, and 16.3.
