Ouigo Introduces Flat Rate for Cultural Trips to Valladolid, Segovia, and Madrid

Ouigo, the popular low-cost rail operator, has announced a new promotion that offers travellers an opportunity to explore the rich cultural heritage of three cities: Valladolid, Segovia, and Madrid.

The promotion, available on the web and app, introduces a fixed price of seven euros for travel during the next seven weeks. This flat rate applies regardless of the schedule or demand, making it an attractive offer for those looking to discover these historic cities.

The promotion is a testament to Ouigo's commitment to promoting the economic development of the destinations it operates in. Blanca Jiménez, the Mayor of Valladolid, has welcomed the new fare, noting that it will contribute to promoting Valladolid as a tourist destination. In July alone, Valladolid registered a high number of tourists, and this new offer is expected to further boost these figures.

Ouigo operates two daily trips between Valladolid and Alicante, with a stop in Segovia. The same frequency is maintained for the trips between Valladolid and Valencia, with stops in Segovia, Madrid-Chamartín, and Cuenca. There are also four daily trips between Valladolid and Madrid, with a stop in Segovia.

Pareja, a spokesperson for Ouigo, has confirmed that in the short term, the company does not plan to launch lines connecting Valladolid with other cities. However, the quality and comfort that characterize Ouigo's services can be combined with affordable prices, as demonstrated by this promotion.

The campaign is expected to increase the average of 1,400 passengers transported between Valladolid and Madrid, which represents 70% of the train's capacity. Moreover, more than 30% of tourists and travelers who arrive in Valladolid come from Madrid. The fact that many may choose the option of doing so by train instead of by car generates a very positive impact on the city's mobility.

Travelers who make six trips can get the seventh one for free within this promotion. Around 100,000 users are estimated to benefit from this fare.

This promotion not only offers an affordable way to explore these historic cities but also contributes to sustainable travel by encouraging the use of public transportation. For those looking to embark on a cultural journey, Ouigo's flat rate is an opportunity not to be missed.
