Bus passenger allegedly subjected to sexual assault during journey between renowned racetrack and train station
In a recent development, North Yorkshire Police have launched an investigation into a sexual assault that occurred on a First bus in York. The incident, which took place on August 20, involved a woman who was traveling between a busy UK racecourse and a train station around 7pm.
The police are urgently seeking witnesses and any information from the public that could aid their investigation. This includes anyone who was traveling from York races to York train station at around the same time, as they may have valuable information.
North Yorkshire Police have also released a CCTV image of a man they believe may have information relevant to the case. The man is not yet publicly identified, but the public is asked to contact the police if they recognize him. Anyone with information can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously.

It is reported that the attacker was traveling with a group of four or five other men. The victim is a woman, and the incident occurred on a busy UK road, making it likely that there were several witnesses.
