Business owner in Kobaya district faces criticism over unjustified invoices
In the Kobayatsky District of Yakutia, a case of potential rights violation against an entrepreneur has come to light. The entity at the centre of this issue is GUP "JHK PC (Y)".
According to reports, the "Kommunteplosbyt" branch of GUP "JHK PC (Y)" in Kobayatsky District demanded payment for heat based on faulty meter readings from an individual entrepreneur. The bakery's heat energy metering unit, specifically, is where the violations occurred.
The malfunction of the heat meter led to the issuance of unjustified bills to the entrepreneur for January-March 2024, despite the meter not functioning properly. The entrepreneur, it seems, had a contract with GUP "JHK PC (Y)" for servicing and technical support of the heat energy metering unit at their bakery. However, GUP "JHK PC (Y)" failed to provide timely servicing, leading to the meter's malfunction.
The unjustified tariff and lack of meter servicing were reported by the regional business ombudsman, Albina Kychkina. The violation was discovered during a check on a complaint from the regional business ombudsman.
The prosecutor's office in Yakutia found a violation of rights by the "Kommunteplosbyt" branch of GUP "JHK PC (Y)" in Kobayatsky District. As a result, the prosecutor of Kobayatsky District issued a decree to the general director of GUP "JHK PC (Y)" due to the identified violations.
The prosecutor's office of the republic is monitoring the elimination of the violations in Kobayatsky District. The regional business ombudsman, Albina Kychkina, continues to monitor the protection of entrepreneur rights in Yakutia.
Despite ongoing investigations, no information was found about the General Director of GUP "JHK PC" or the discovery date of the legal violation at the "Kommunteplosbyt" branch in Kobayatsky District in the provided search results.
This incident underscores the importance of adhering to contractual obligations and maintaining accurate meter readings in the provision of essential services. The case serves as a reminder for service providers to uphold their responsibilities and ensure fair practices towards their clients.
