Cage Wars Moves to Glens Falls Arena for February Event

The next Cage Wars event is set for February 7 at the Cool Insuring Arena in Glens Falls. The event is sponsored by Anthony Constantino's 21st Congressional District campaign fund. It will feature 10 amateur fights, marking a change from the previous venue at Rivers Casino Schenectady.

Cage Wars' CEO, Timothy Rankins, has expressed disappointment about the end of their collaboration with Rivers Casino Schenectady. The casino, a premium gaming and entertainment venue, has decided to part ways with Cage Wars for business reasons. The last event at the casino and resort was held on November 1, 2024.

The February event in Glens Falls will be a significant change for Cage Wars, moving from a casino venue to an arena. Meanwhile, Cage Wars has another event planned for March 17 at Armory Studios in Schenectady, which can accommodate 2,500 people.

The search for the person who announced themselves as the sponsor of the February event remains ongoing. Despite the change in venue, Cage Wars continues to plan events in the region, with the next one in Glens Falls on February 7.
