Canadian Poker Pro Santiago Plante Heads to WSOP Online Main Event Final Table

Canadian poker pro Santiago Plante is set to compete in the final table of the WSOP Online Main Event on GGPoker. The event starts at 2pm ET today, with a 45-minute delay stream on GGPoker's YouTube channel, featuring Phil Hellmuth on commentary.

Plante, currently 4th in chips with 45,166,830 (56.5 BBs), is aiming to become the first Canadian WSOP Online Main Event champion. The final 9 players, including Plante, will share over $15 million, with the minimum payout being $487,813. The winner will receive a WSOP gold bracelet, a $30K package to WSOP Paradise, and $3,900,707 in prize money.

The Main Event attracted 5,961 entries, creating a prizepool of over $28 million (approx. CAD $38.7 million). Plante, who has over $5 million in winnings on GGPoker and $2.3 million in live career earnings, will face Benjamin 'bencb789' Rolle, the chip leader with 75,645,533 (94.6 BBs).
