Car Iconic Kinetic DX set for revival as an Electric Vehicle, set for debut on July 28. Gather details here.
The much-anticipated return of the iconic Kinetic DX scooter is upon us, this time as an all-electric model. The new electric version of the Kinetic DX-Scooter is developed by Kinetic Green, a subsidiary of the Kinetic Group.
The new Kinetic DX design bears a striking resemblance to its original counterpart, but with a few modern updates. The Kinetic Green logo now adorns the front apron, replacing the 'Kinetic Honda' logo on the original. The side panels remain reminiscent of the original model, while the diminutive flyscreen now displays the 'Kinetic' logo.
One of the most significant changes is the rear of the new scooter, which accommodates a new grab rail instead of a spare tyre. The design also boasts a rectangular LED headlamp cluster with fresh LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs), adding a contemporary touch.
As for the technical details, they are currently under wraps. The price of the new Kinetic electric scooter has yet to be released, and no details about its launch have been made public. However, it is expected to be aimed at family purchases, offering a good blend of performance and range.
The electric scooter segment of the family market is growing, and the new Kinetic electric scooter will be one of its contenders. It will compete with models like the Bajaj Chetak, Ather Rizta, TVS iQube, and Ola S1 X.
While we wait for more information about the new Kinetic electric scooter, it's worth noting that Kinetic Green has submitted the design patent for the new Kinetic DX scooter. The company also offers other electric vehicles, such as the Kinetic Green Zulu with a top speed of 60 kmph, priced at ₹79,990, and the Kinetic Green Zing with a top speed of 45 kmph, priced at ₹67,990.
