In an unfortunate incident that took place around 11 pm on Monday, a collision occurred between a car and a wild boar sounder on the L306 road from Müllenbach towards Meinerzhagen, near Unnenberger Street.

The car involved in the collision was a Golf, driven by a 29-year-old resident of Meinerzhagen. The driver was not injured, but the incident left a 29-year-old passenger and a one-year-old child with minor injuries. Both were immediately taken to the hospital for treatment.

The responsible hunter for the area, Michael Bauer, has been informed about the accident. Unfortunately, the collision resulted in the death of 11 wild boars, including 10 piglets and one sow.
