Carcasses of Animals Along the Highway

Composed approximately 8 years ago humorously for my father, this piece is a reflection of the rhythm of Josh Turner's "Your Man." It marks my first and only endeavor in songwriting with a predetermined melody. I've made some refinements to it since.

Carcasses of Animals Along the Highway

A catchy tune with a dark twist has taken the internet by storm. The song, titled "Baby, I'll Hit You with My Car," has been making waves due to its controversial lyrics and unexpected origin.

Written as a joke for the author's father eight years ago, the song has since been punched up and extended. It is the first and only song the author has ever written with a specific melody in mind, based on Josh Turner's "Your Man."

The song's lyrics are meant to be comedy, but they are undeniably violent. Lines such as "Baby, I'll hit you with my car underwater," "I will persist 'til you're a red cloud of mist," and "It's just a vehicular manslaughter" are sure to raise eyebrows. The chorus, with its ominous refrain of "There's no hurry, don't you worry, I'm on my way... I will find you, and I'll get you, stuck in my grill!," adds to the song's eerie atmosphere.

The song also contains the lines: "You won't see it coming, you won't know it's coming, until it's too late... There's no running, there's no hiding, kiss your ass goodbye!" and "Don't bother putting up a fight, just walk towards the light!", which further emphasize the song's dark humour.

The song's third verse includes the line: "Don't bother putting up a fight, just walk towards the light!," followed by "You'll make my day!". The song concludes with an instrumental finish.

Despite its controversial nature, the song has gained a significant following on YouTube, where it can be found at this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3auXWYeVa_A&list=PLiqpjAMwHGsaAog1FtjIua...

It's important to note that the song was initially written as a joke and is not intended to promote violence or harm. Nonetheless, its dark humour and violent lyrics have sparked debate and discussion among listeners.

The original version of the song, "Baby, ich fahre dich mit meinem Auto," was written by Juliane Werding and released in 1983. While the original version is in German, the current version is in English, maintaining the same melody but with updated lyrics.

In conclusion, "Baby, I'll Hit You with My Car" is a unique and intriguing song that has captured the attention of many. Its controversial lyrics and dark humour have sparked debate and discussion, but its catchy tune and unexpected origin have made it a viral sensation. Whether you find it amusing or offensive, there's no denying that this song is one for the books.
