Joe Heller, a resident of Green Bay, Wis., has made a name for himself as the most successful self-syndicated editorial cartoonist in the United States. After being laid off from the Green Bay Press-Gazette in July 2013, Heller took a bold step and established his own syndicate, Heller Syndication.

Heller's talent and dedication have been recognised with numerous awards. He has won a total of 10 Best of Gannett awards, eight Milwaukee Press Club awards, and two Honorable mentions for the John Fischetti Award. These accolades are a testament to his exceptional work in the field of editorial cartooning.

Heller's cartoons are widely distributed, with Heller Syndication supplying his work to over 400 newspapers across the nation. His cartoons are regularly reprinted in major newspapers such as USA Today, Denver Post, St. Paul Pioneer Press, The New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, Newsweek Japan, The Week, and The Washington Post.
