Josh.ai has partnered with AVPro Edge to enhance professional home automation installations, specifically improving AV-over-IP synchronization. Additionally, Josh.ai has partnered with IC Realtime to resell their surveillance products, ensuring seamless integration and exclusive co-developed functionality.
New Products and Updates
IC Realtime products will be available for integrators to purchase in the Josh.ai store starting on October 1st, 2025. Josh.ai is also debuting a 10-inch Josh Touchscreen at CEDIA Expo, available in Polished Black and Ceramic White. This touchscreen features capacitive touch, tap-to-talk voice control, proximity and light sensors, and is hardwired and powered over ethernet (PoE).
Expanded Home-Monitoring Capabilities
AI X OS introduces the Camera Capture update for expanded home-monitoring capabilities. Users can now intelligently detect, record, and receive notifications of important activity from integrated surveillance systems. For instance, asking, "Analyze the front door camera?" will display relevant footage and provide a detailed description.
Advanced Lighting Features
The Lighting Intelligence Controller in AI X OS includes circadian light matching, contextual light grouping, and a colour selector. It also offers customizable lighting effects and hands-free lighting convenience with JoshGPT.
User-Friendly Interfaces
AI X OS introduces new graphical interfaces for the Josh App, Josh Touchscreen, and Josh.ai + AVA Remote. CustomDash in AI X OS allows users to pin preferred devices, areas, and scenes as widgets for effortless access.
AI Scenes for Tailored Automations
AI Scenes in AI X OS suggest automations tailored to each user's environment. This feature aims to provide a more intuitive and personalized home automation experience.
Battery Life and Availability
Josh Edge's battery life lasts for three months and will be available later this year.
