Challenges to Willow and Michael's Reunion on General Hospital: Two Predicted Hindrances

General Hospital fans are eagerly anticipating a possible reunion between Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). However, the road to reconciliation is far from smooth, with a tangled web of past indiscretions and current alliances that could make for a dramatic storyline.

Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), also known as Mini-Carly, could pose an obstacle to a Michael and Willow reunion. As Michael's daughter, Josslyn has always been protective of her brother and may not want to see him go down a path with Willow that sees him hurting again. Josslyn finds Willow's past actions particularly low, as Willow cheated with her husband's uncle, good friend, and business partner.

Willow's relationship with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) has been fraught with manipulation and deceit. Drew manipulated Willow's children, including making sure Wylie heard that Michael didn't want him anymore. This could potentially sabotage any reconciliation between Michael and Willow.

Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), while usually opposed to Michael and Willow getting back together, has always liked Willow and was a mother figure to her at one point. If a reunion were to occur, Carly may not cause too much of a fuss if it makes her grandchildren happy. However, Carly may have felt bad that Willow allowed herself to be manipulated by Drew.

Josslyn's past cheating in a relationship does not exclude her from potentially trying to sabotage a Michael and Willow reunion. In fact, Josslyn may devise a scheme to ensure Michael and Willow become nothing more than good co-parents.

The secret about Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) and baby Daisy may hinder a possible Michael and Willow reconciliation. Willow stalked Sasha and baby Daisy as payback, sending Sasha packing and potentially causing problems for Michael's access to his newborn daughter.

With so much bad blood between Michael and Willow, and a web of complicated relationships, fans will have to tune in to see if these two former lovers can find their way back to each other. New episodes of General Hospital air weekdays on ABC, and missed episodes can be caught up on Hulu.
