Chery Motors Unveils Cutting-edge Plug-in Hybrid Vehicle Variants in UAE Dealerships Nationwide
In a significant move towards a more sustainable future, Chery UAE has announced the arrival of its Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) models, the TIGGO 9 PHEV and Arrizo 8 PHEV, in showrooms across the Emirates.
Zaher Sabbagh, Director of Chery UAE, AW Rostamani Group, has commented that the launch of these PHEV models signifies Chery's commitment to delivering exceptional performance, remarkable efficiency, and premium comfort without compromise.
The TIGGO 9 PHEV and Arrizo 8 PHEV are designed for a new generation of eco-conscious drivers who demand more from their vehicles. These models offer a combined range of 1,200 km on one full tank and one full charge, making them an attractive option for those seeking a balance between performance and sustainability.
The TIGGO 9 PHEV features an advanced dual motor hybrid system, a 1.5TGDI engine, and a 3-speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (3DHT), delivering up to 610 Hp combined hybrid output power and up to 920 Nm combined hybrid output torque. It also offers a high-capacity battery of 34.46KWH, achieving up to 170 km in pure electric range. The vehicle is available in both AWD Premium and 2WD Luxury variants, each featuring a panoramic sunroof, quiet glass, co-pilot massage seats, up to 10 airbags, advanced infotainment with a 15.6" HD central display, and premium sound systems with up to 14 speakers.
On the other hand, the Arrizo 8 PHEV offers a pure electric range of 118 km, powered by a 1.5TGDI petrol engine and a high-performance electric motor. Its interior is equipped with a 24.6" dual infotainment and cluster display, in addition to premium audio. The Arrizo 8 PHEV's battery features 800 safety checks every 5 minutes, IP68 water and dust protection, and a rapid power cut-off system.
Chery UAE has launched the brand in the Emirates with these PHEV models, supported by their official sole distributor AW Rostamani. Both the TIGGO 9 PHEV and Arrizo 8 PHEV models offer wireless connectivity through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
