Children's sports extravaganza promoting inclusivity to take place in Astana

Get ready for an exciting and inclusive event as the Children's Paralympic Games 2025 is set to take place in Astana from June 26 to 28. This three-day festival, organized by the NGO "World of Equal Opportunities" and supported by the Samruk-Kazyna Trust Foundation, aims to promote adaptive sports and inclusivity.

The games will feature a variety of events, including dance competitions and competitions in 9 sports: adaptive swimming, adaptive karate, adaptive taekwondo, adaptive football, Bocha, adaptive athletics, CP-football, adaptive pioneer ball, and table tennis. The dance competition is part of the "Inclusive Choreography" club.

The main partner of this significant event is the Samruk-Kazyna Sovereign Wealth Fund, which is providing financial and logistical support for the event. The opening ceremony of the festival will take place on June 26 at 10:00 in the "Zhastar" palace.

The games are expected to foster a sense of community and camaraderie among children with and without disabilities. The goal is to increase motivation for regular sports activities, promote social activity, trust, and mutual respect, and strengthen friendly ties between these groups.

Approximately 400 young athletes with disabilities who are winners of regional qualifying competitions from 20 cities in Kazakhstan will participate in the games. These young athletes have been working hard to prepare for this momentous occasion, and their dedication and determination are sure to shine throughout the event.

The games are organized as part of the social project "Salaamatty Bolashaq". This project, which means "Healthy Generation" in Kazakh, seeks to create a more inclusive and supportive environment for children with disabilities in Kazakhstan.
