Chiranjeevi acknowledges fan's long-distance endeavor, pledges assistance for her children's future
In a heartwarming display of sisterly affection, Rajeshwari, a woman from Adoni, Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh, cycled over 300km to meet none other than the legendary actor, Chiranjeevi. Upon their meeting, Chiranjeevi welcomed Rajeshwari with open arms, a gesture that spoke volumes of the bond they share.
Rajeshwari, with a face lit up with happiness, tied a rakhi on Chiranjeevi's wrist, symbolising her sisterly affection for the star. In return, Chiranjeevi gifted her a traditional saree and assured her that he would take care of her children's education, promising to pave the way for a brighter future for her family.
Chiranjeevi, born on August 22, 1955, is not only a beloved actor but also a philanthropist. He established the Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust (CCT) in October 1998, which has since become the largest recipient of blood and eye donations in Andhra Pradesh. The CCT includes a blood bank and an eye bank, working tirelessly to aid those in need.
The Chiranjeevi Charitable Foundation (CCF) was inaugurated by the former President of India, A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, on 10 June 2006. The CCF has made significant contributions to various sectors, including education, healthcare, and disaster relief.
As for Chiranjeevi's acting career, he continues to shine, with some of his highest-grossing movies including Pasivadi Pranam (1987), Yamudiki Mogudu, and Attaku Yamudu Ammayiki Mogudu. He is currently involved in several upcoming projects, including Anil Ravipudi's Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu and Vassishta's Vishwambhara, slated for an early 2026 release.
Interestingly, this will mark the third collaboration between Chiranjeevi and the actress Nayanthara in Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu.
A notable figure, Michael Clarke, recently gave a 'friendly reminder' to fans after another skin cancer surgery, emphasising the importance of regular health checks.
As Chiranjeevi continues to excel in both his acting and philanthropic endeavours, his legacy as a beloved actor and a dedicated humanitarian continues to grow.
