City Festival Finale 2025 in Our Metropolis: Open Market Day This Sunday within the city limits
The Our City Festival is currently underway, offering a diverse range of entertainment for everyone. Here's a rundown of the day's events:
At 12:00 PM, the fun mile and children's area opened, providing amusement rides such as the 40-meter-high chain flyer, Ferris wheel, and bumper cars. The children's area, located on the Friedrich-Ebert-Allee near the cinema, will remain open until 6:30 PM.
At 1:30 PM, the our city ballet school will perform excerpts from their upcoming production of "Carmina Burana" on the town hall stage. An hour later, at 2:30 PM, the TSG our city dance groups will present a performance on the market square stage.
At 2:00 PM, the SΓΆhre Zappers will take the Klimperkasten stage, followed by a performance by Heavens voices e.V. at 5:00 PM on the same stage, singing gospel songs accompanied by Marina Dondikov on piano.
At 3:00 PM, Dance United Kassel dance studio will present a variety of hip-hop styles on the market square stage. Meanwhile, at 3:45 PM, both the Grossenritter Carnevals Gemeinschaft (GCG) and Tanz- und Musikschule ENjoy will showcase their talents. The GCG will give a sneak peek into their training on the market square stage, while Tanz- und Musikschule ENjoy will present a lively and diverse stage program with a focus on dance and community on the [34225] stage.
At 3:45 PM on the [34225] stage, the KSV our city music corps will perform under the direction of Torsten Eckerle. As the evening approaches, at 4:45 PM on the Main Stage, GSV Eintracht our city Gymnastics and Dance Group 1+2 will perform a combination of dance, movement, gymnastics elements, and fun to current music.
The festival's main event, the KLIMPERKASTEN powered by DSV, will feature Rouge performing at 5:30 PM as part of the finale concert on July 7, 2024. The day will conclude with Tanz- und Musikschule ENjoy presenting a programme on the Main Stage at 7:00 PM.
