City of Lünen: Restricted Operating Hours with the Taxation Department
The Tax Team of Luenens Municipality has announced temporary adjustments to its service hours due to staff shortages. The new service hours for personal consultation are now in effect, with changes being made to the usual schedule.
From now on, personal consultation will be available on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM and 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM. Unfortunately, personal consultation will not be available on Wednesdays and Fridays at the Tax Team of Luenens Municipality.
Despite the changes, the Tax Team has not announced any changes to its payment methods or deadlines, tax rates or policies, or online services. Concerns can still be addressed via email to steuerabteilung@unser website at any time, regardless of service hours.
The head of the tax department, Markus Schneider, made the announcement in September 2025. The reasons for the staff shortages have not been disclosed by the Tax Team.
The Tax Team of Luenens Municipality is responsible for managing dog tax, property taxes, business tax, and amusement tax. If you have any questions or need assistance with any of these taxes, please visit the Tax Team during their adjusted service hours or contact them via email.
