City Transfer: Detmold is Changing Locations

Get ready for an active summer as the "Sports in the Park" program returns to the Lippe district! This inclusive fitness program, running from July 14 to August 26, 2025, offers a variety of activities suitable for individuals of all ages and fitness levels.

The program, which takes place in Detmold and several other cities and towns in the district, is supported by various organisations including the city of Gütersloh, the Kreissportbund (KSB), the Stadtsportverband, and the Seniorenbeirat. Additional support in the region comes from the Bürgerstiftung Gütersloh and the Volksbank Bielefeld-Gütersloh. While the program in Detmold is primarily supported, the focus of the found search results is mainly on Gütersloh and nearby locations.

The "Sports in the Park" program offers a diverse range of activities, from fitness classes and martial arts to Latin dance fitness, hula hoop, family events, and inclusive ball games. Strength and coordination training will be held on the Kusselberg, while Latin Dance Fitness will take place in the Museumspark Ameide. Workout and BodyFit will be held in the Bürgerpark.

One of the best things about the "Sports in the Park" program is that no club membership or prior registration is required to participate. Whether you're a fitness enthusiast or a beginner, you're welcome to join in the fun.
