City unveils blueprint for Riebeckplatz's future-centric urban development, soliciting public input
The city of Halle (Saale) has announced the publication of the draft for the "Riebeckplatz-Future Center" building plan (No. 174.2), inviting citizens to participate in the planning process.
The planning area encompasses a significant portion of Riebeckplatz, including traffic zones, car parks on VolkmannstraĂe and Madgeburger StraĂe, as well as two elevated roads. The affected area spans approximately 7.8 hectares.
The draft, which has been approved by the city council, includes a justification and environmental report. Citizens can view the planning documents from Tuesday, September 2, to October 6, either online or in person.
For online viewing, the city's internet portal at www.public-display.our-website.de is available. Additionally, the planning documents can be viewed on the participation portal of the state of Saxony-Anhalt.
The participation form and the participation portal provide opportunities for public input. The participation form, which can be found on the city's website, is designed for statements on the planning documents of the "Riebeckplatz-Future Center". Statements can be made electronically via the participation portal of the state of Saxony-Anhalt or by printing and signing the participation form, which should then be sent to the city of Halle (Saale).
It's important to note that the participation form and the participation portal are separate locations for making statements and viewing the documents. The draft of the building plan is also available in the foyer of the administration building Neustaedter Passage 18 for those who prefer an in-person viewing.
The architectural firm responsible for the "Riebeckplatz-Zukunftszentrum" project is the Berlin-based office Richter/Musikowski, led by Christoph Richter and Jan Musikowski.
This is a significant development for the city of Halle (Saale), and the city encourages all citizens to engage in the planning process and share their opinions on the "Riebeckplatz-Future Center" plan.
