"City Works Solingen hosts inaugural e-football job opportunity gathering, labeled as the 'Team City Works' recruitment event"
On Thursday, September 11, 2025, Stadtwerke Solingen is hosting an engaging event aimed at showcasing the opportunities available for young people seeking apprenticeships. The event, which takes place at BeethovenstraΓe 210, promises to be a fun, open, and personal experience.
Jennifer Gerhardt from the HR department of Stadtwerke Solingen is looking forward to the event. Registration is mandatory before September 5 via the following link: www.stadtwerke-solingen.de/zock-dich-ins-team.
The event is open to youth aged 15 and above, with parents welcome as companions. The tournament will be played on a large screen and in randomly assembled teams, adding a competitive edge to the evening.
Participants can expect free catering, with snacks and soft drinks available throughout the event. Apprentices and trainers from various departments of Stadtwerke Solingen will be present to provide insights into the daily life of apprenticeships, covering various training professions such as Electronics Engineer for Energy and Building Technology, Industrial Mechanic for Pipe Systems, Specialist in Public Transport, Motor Vehicle Mechatronics, Retail Marketing Specialist, and Industrial Business Management.
The event also features an eFootball tournament in EA Sports FC Club mode on 14 PlayStations, offering a chance for some friendly competition. Consent for photography is required, especially for minors (by parents).
This event aims to show young people that an apprenticeship at Stadtwerke Solingen offers future, security, community, and real prospects. For the next apprenticeship year starting August 2026, Stadtwerke Solingen offers the following training programs: Electronics Technician for Operating Technology, Specialist in Transport Operations, and Clerk for Dialogue Marketing.
