Classic Vehicles Gathering in Paderborn on Sunday

Paderborn is set to host an automotive highlight this coming Sunday, as 90 historic vehicles take to the roads for the 90 Oldtimers on Tour. The event, which starts at 9 AM at the Thiel Auto House on Detmolder Straße, promises a day of nostalgia and excitement for vintage car enthusiasts and curious onlookers alike.

The unique aspect of this tour is that at 3 PM, the vehicles will enter the heart of the city, providing a picturesque spectacle for all to see. The route, approximately 150-kilometers long, leads through picturesque landscapes and charming towns, offering a scenic backdrop to the classic cars.

The highlight of the event is the finish at the Kamp, near the Pax-Bank and the Mundus restaurant. The finish with timekeeping at the Kamp promises great entertainment, as drivers must undergo a time check by Dekra before crossing the finish line. The winner is the one who completes the route with the fewest penalty points.

The event is under the patronage of Mayor Michael Dreier, and the organizers have extended a warm invitation to vintage car enthusiasts and curious onlookers to attend. Spectators are welcome at the event, which includes a major stop at the historic Graflicher Park in Bad Driburg from 12 PM to 2 PM.

After the event, 90 vehicles will be on display on the Theodorianum parking lot and at the Kamp. The grand finale is at 5 PM with a prize-giving ceremony, which will take place on a historic nose Mercedes truck from Hartmann Spedition. Numerous trophies and special prizes will be awarded during the ceremony.
