Cleaning up activities at the children's shelter scheduled for September 13th

The city of Münster invites all residents to participate in a community fall clean-up at the Green Loop at Brüningheide in Kinderhaus on September 13, from 10.30 to 13.30. This event is part of a social and nature-friendly project aimed at promoting integration and neighborhood life, led by project leader Wolfram Goldbeck from the responsible department for green spaces, environment, and sustainability.

The Green Loop at Brüningheide has undergone a remarkable transformation, thanks to regular community actions. The quality of stay at the Green Loop has improved noticeably, and vandalism and littering have decreased significantly since the beginning of the project. The Green Loop now offers vegetable, herb, and flower beds, fruit trees, raised beds, water features, and seating options, making it a vibrant and welcoming green oasis.

The clean-up event will involve various activities to maintain and enhance the beauty of the Green Loop. After the hard work, participants are invited to enjoy a joint barbecue to celebrate their efforts and strengthen the sense of community.

The city of Münster encourages everyone to join this community action in the Green Loop on September 13. The press release states that publication with this release is free of charge. Please note that the photo accompanying this press release is an archive image.

For more information about the event or the Green Loop project, please contact the responsible department for green spaces, environment, and sustainability in Münster. Together, we can continue to make the Green Loop at Brüningheide a shining example of community-led environmental initiatives.
