Cloud-based AI software for sleep diagnostics launched by HoneyNaps
HoneyNaps Showcases AI Solution at SLEEP 2025
HoneyNaps, a South Korean medical AI diagnostics company, made a significant impact at SLEEP 2025, an international sleep medicine conference co-hosted by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) and the Sleep Research Society (SRS). Held in Seattle, USA, from June 8 to 11, 2025, the event attracted approximately 5,000 sleep professionals.
For the fourth consecutive year, HoneyNaps showcased its technological capabilities and research achievements. The company unveiled SOMNUM™ Cloud, an AI solution for automated analysis of polysomnography (PSG) data. This cloud-based AI solution generated a considerable amount of interest, with over 100 U.S. medical institutions expressing interest in potential adoption after the conference.
To further demonstrate the capabilities of SOMNUM™ Cloud, HoneyNaps offered a free trial of the service at their exhibition booth. The free trial consisted of three AI analyses, allowing visitors to experience SOMNUM Cloud in a clinical-like setting.
In addition to showcasing SOMNUM™ Cloud, HoneyNaps also presented an oral presentation titled "Development and Evaluation of an Exclusively ECG-based Deep Learning Model for Sleep Staging." This deep learning model, developed by HoneyNaps, classifies sleep stages using single-lead ECG signals. The model demonstrates significantly improved accuracy over conventional methods.
The company's efforts were well-received by U.S. sleep physicians and Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (RPSGTs), who gave enthusiastic feedback on the hands-on program.
Taekyoung (Sean) Ha, PhD, President of HoneyNaps USA, also stated that they held individual meetings with leading global sleep companies to discuss potential strategic collaborations.
Interested parties can learn more about HoneyNaps and its products by visiting the company's website at www.honeynaps.com. SLEEP 2025 featured over 1,000 of the latest research presentations, reinforcing HoneyNaps' academic credibility through both oral and poster presentations. No software installation is required to download the report from SOMNUM™ Cloud, making it a convenient solution for medical institutions.
