In a significant development, two suspects linked to a Vietnamese network selling drugs in Thailand have been arrested. The arrests occurred on Tuesday at the delivery location, according to the Thai Customs Department.

The authorities intercepted a parcel at Suvarnabhumi airport from the United States on August 21. The item in the parcel was declared as a "Circuit Wel Fixture Tooling Plate", but it contained a shocking revelation – three kilogrammes of cocaine.

The briefing regarding the intercepted parcel was led by Customs Department spokesman Panthong Loykulnan at Thai Customs in Klong Toey district on Wednesday. The delivery was made from the US to Bangkok, and the parcel was checked by the Airport Interdiction Task Force and narcotics police.

A Thai man and a Vietnamese accomplice were arrested at the delivery location. The Vietnamese suspect had entered and stayed in Thailand illegally, according to police. The Thai suspect's name was not released by authorities.

The three packages in the parcel contained white acrid flakes, which tested positive for cocaine. The value of the cocaine in the parcel is estimated to be 10 million baht. Both suspects are held in custody for further legal proceedings.

The Vietnamese suspect is linked to a Vietnamese network selling drugs in Thailand, according to an initial investigation. The arrests highlight the ongoing efforts by Thai authorities to combat drug trafficking in the country.

A photo of the detained suspects was taken by the Thai Customs Department. However, as of the latest information, the names of the suspects have not been publicly released. The authorities continue their investigation into the case and the wider network involved in drug trafficking in Thailand.
