The CIMB-Toss Debit Card, a collaboration between CIMB Bank Vietnam and Viva Republica, was launched in early December 2020. This new debit card, designed with a fresh and youthful aesthetic, is tailored for customers aged 20 to 30, offering a seamless banking experience.
The card features the signature Aurora tone of Toss, a gentle blue-pink silver colour, and a layer of rainbow effect, enhancing the user experience. The user details are placed at the back of the card, creating a clean and refined look.
One of the exclusive benefits from the partnership is zero-fee card opening and a waiver on the annual fee. Users can also enjoy advanced technology solutions, such as eKYC (electronic Know Your Customer) solution, VISA payWave contactless payment, and walk and earn bonus cash.
For online or in-app payments, the virtual card number will be saved on the user's phone. If a virtual card number is stolen, it can be quickly replaced. In case of unauthorized access to an account, the account can be locked to block all types of payments and transfers.
In retail stores, users can pay for purchases by holding the physical debit card up to a card reader. If a card is lost, customers can block the missing card and order a replacement.
