Collaboration Yields New Headphones: My Opinion After Extensive Testing - Baseus and Bose Combine Forces

The tech world is abuzz with excitement about the latest offering from Baseus – the Baseus Inspire XH1 headphones. In a unique collaboration with Bose, these headphones promise to deliver an exceptional audio experience.

The Baseus Inspire XH1 headphones feature adaptive active noise cancellation (ANC), offering multiple modes tailored for different environments. This technology works in harmony with the headphones' impressive sound profile, which places a significant emphasis on the mid-range, particularly around the 800Hz mark. This results in "stunning details, depth, and clarity" that music and movie enthusiasts will appreciate.

For those who prefer wired listening, the Baseus Inspire XH1 headphones cater to this preference as well. The headphones also boast a low-latency toggle, making them an attractive choice for gamers.

The headphones' sound quality is further enhanced by Dolby Audio and LDAC, ensuring higher resolution music quality over Bluetooth. For added convenience, they come equipped with a Find My Headphones tool and customizable button controls.

When it comes to battery life, the Baseus Inspire XH1 headphones offer impressive endurance. With ANC off, they can last up to 100 hours on a single charge, and with ANC on, they still manage a respectable 65 hours.

However, it's important to note that while the Baseus Inspire XH1 headphones offer a decent amount of low-end weight without obscuring mid-range and treble sounds, they may not match the instrument separation, wide soundstage, or detail-oriented audio of more expensive models like the Sony WH-1000XM6 or Bowers & Wilkins Px7 S3.

The Baseus Inspire XH1 headphones also feature adaptive ANC and 'hi-res' Bluetooth audio, and Bose's logo adorns the headband, further testament to the collaboration between the two brands.

Baseus has also collaborated with other brands for their range of audio devices, including Knowles Electronics, which supplied flagship balanced armature units used in Baseus Inspire XC1 clip-on earphones.

The Baseus Inspire XH1 headphones were unveiled at IFA 2025 and are now available for purchase. They also offer multi-point connectivity, allowing you to seamlessly switch between multiple devices.

With a price of $149.99 / £169.99 (about AU$230), the Baseus Inspire XH1 headphones offer an attractive blend of technology, design, and sound quality, making them a compelling choice for discerning audio enthusiasts.
