Collision between Car and Tourist Bus Leaves Five Individuals Hurt on the Roadside

A collision involving a tour bus and a car occurred in Bochum-Westenfeld on August 30th at around 12:38 PM. The area of the collision, located on Westenfelder StraรŸe towards BahnhofstraรŸe, was completely closed off during the investigation.

The police department in Bochum is leading the investigation, with the traffic commission also involved. The exact cause of the accident remains under investigation, but it is known that the car was being driven by a 27-year-old woman from Bochum, while the tour bus was being driven by a 69-year-old resident of Bochum.

Sadly, the collision resulted in five people being injured, including four children aged one to seven. One of the children was severely injured. All injured individuals were taken to nearby hospitals after initial treatment by emergency services.
