A traffic accident occurred at the intersection of Emil-Nolde-Allee and Paul-Klee-Straße in Fulda on Friday, August 29, 2025, at approximately 12:30 PM. According to a report prepared by PHK Weinrich of the Fulda Police Station, an 18-year-old cyclist was seriously injured in the accident. The cyclist was traveling on the sidewalk towards Magdeburger Straße when the incident occurred.
The cyclist was taken to the hospital by ambulance, and the police report estimates the bicycle sustained only minor damage, amounting to around 100 euros. Unfortunately, the driver of a Dacia, an 85-year-old individual, also suffered injuries, along with his 83-year-old passenger. Both were taken to the hospital as well.
In the accident, the Dacia collided with a Mercedes approaching from the right on Emil-Nolde-Allee, causing the vehicle to overturn onto its left side and collide with a parked Opel. The total damage to all three vehicles was estimated at 10,000 euros.
