Combined Usage of Assisted Transportation Devices with Mobile Robot Systems
In a significant move, the ATD Group, headquartered in Lower Saxony, has merged with IT service provider MR Systeme on the last working day of August 2025. The merger aims to create a leading IT security consultant for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Northern Germany.
Holger Kaemmerer, CEO of ATD, announced the expansion of the company's Security Operations Center (SOC) and expansion plans in Northern Germany in early August. Kaemmerer remains the majority shareholder and will continue to determine the fate of the group.
The merger has increased the number of employees at ATD from 70 to 120, and a turnover of 22 million euros is targeted for the current year. The management team of the ATD Group is now complete, consisting of Holger Kaemmerer (CEO), Nils Kaczenski (CTO), Ali Gülerman (CISO), Christian Mamojka (COO), and Michael Boese (CSO).
Christian Mamojka, the managing director of MR Systeme, sees great potential in the merger. Henning Meyer, founder of MR Systeme, was 15 years old at the time of its founding, while Holger Kaemmerer had already completed his studies in civil engineering. Meyer, however, left MR Systeme after its acquisition by Infinigate in 2018 and remained there until the end of 2021.
MR Systeme will continue to exist as a subsidiary for a certain period before being fully integrated into the group. The ATD Group and MR Systeme are now represented in Braunschweig/Wolfenbüttel, Detmold/Höxter (NRW), Hamburg, and Hannover.
GLC AG, the company behind the merger, believes the combination of ATD's project business strengths and MR Systeme's managed services will provide a very broad and agile knowledge base to meet the dynamics of the market for digitalization and IT infrastructure. GLC AG is looking forward to further developing the new joint venture with Holger Kaemmerer.
Martin Weigel, a member of the board at GLC AG, has confirmed his support for ATD Group's further expansion. Weigel is optimistic about the merger, stating it will ensure sustainable performance for existing and new customers. GLC AG is confident in the increasing dynamics in the market for digitalization and IT infrastructure, with frequent product and technology changes.
The ATD Group is particularly looking forward to the partnership with cybersecurity provider Hornetsecurity. The merger took place after a few weeks of negotiations that started in April 2025, and the search results do not contain information about when the IT service providers MR Systeme and ATD were first taken over by the company GLC AG. The statement does not repeat any earlier facts and does not contain any advertisements.
