"Comedy series 'South Park' sees Butters getting into trouble once again, premiering this upcoming week"
The animated series "South Park" is back with a new episode this week, continuing its trademark blend of up-to-the-moment satire, political spoofs, and the daily struggles of the town's residents.
In the upcoming episode, titled simply "South Park," the show has already smashed its own record for ratings in the season premiere. This episode marks the return of character Butters, who finds himself in trouble at the principal's office due to President Trump's tariffs, as depicted in a promotional spot.
The episode also features the character Satan, and a scene with Trump and Satan descending the staircase of Air Force One. The creators, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, have shown no signs of slowing down in their critical commentary, having already lampooned ICE, Kristi Noem, Charlie Kirk, Chat GPT, the militarization of Washington D.C., and more in Season 27.
The creators have also introduced President Trump as a character in the new season. This isn't the first time they've pushed boundaries, having previously included a PSA featuring a talking penis in the show.
Don't miss the next episode of "South Park" airing Wednesday night at 10 p.m. on Comedy Central. After its initial broadcast, the episode will be streaming on Paramount+. The show continues to rage on like a pissed off Eric Cartman, providing another vital show on TV.
