The Austrian manufacturer Pöttinger has announced the launch of its latest product, the Terradisc HT 12000 disc harrow. This innovative tool is designed for crop production and soil cultivation, offering versatility and efficiency in various conditions.

Mounted on the frame via the Twin Arm System, the discs of the Pöttinger disc harrow feature an aggressive angle of attack and a diameter of 58 cm. The disc set consists of 100 serrated or smooth hollow discs, ensuring effective soil cultivation.

The Terradisc HT 12000 is designed for tractors with a power range of 450 to 720 hp. It is divided into four segments during ground operation, allowing for better ground adaptation. The individual wings can follow the ground contour by up to 6 degrees, enhancing its performance in diverse terrains.

For improved power distribution and to relieve the center frame, telescopic drawbar links are incorporated into the design. The discs are mounted with rubber buffers, providing a smooth operation and reducing the impact on the soil.

The working depth range for the Pöttinger disc harrow Terradisc HT 12000 is specified as 5 to 15 cm. It is designed for use in various conditions, such as stubble management and seedbed preparation. The disc harrow is versatile and can work effectively in heavy, dry conditions as well as with many crop residues.

The Terradisc HT 12000 is equipped with a pendulum-mounted tandem axle for the transport suspension. For added convenience, manual variation of the depth is possible using swing clips on the following and treader wheels. The disc harrow also features maintenance-free Non-Stop stone protection.

For the Agritechnica show, the Terradisc HT 12000 is equipped with wider wings. With a working width of 12.5 meters, this disc harrow is a significant addition to Pöttinger's line of agricultural equipment.

The new Pöttinger disc harrow Terradisc HT 12000 is set to revolutionise crop production and soil cultivation, offering farmers a reliable and efficient tool for their operations.
