On September 14th, the Konrad-Zuse-Museum is inviting everyone to a History Day at the Keltenhof in Mackenzell. This external site of the museum will come alive with various activities and hands-on offers, designed for both children and adults, providing insights into life at the Keltenhof and our prehistoric past.

The day's events begin at 12 PM, but an archaeological walk led by JΓΌrgen Schneider, the department head of pre- and early history at the museum, starts earlier at 10 AM. The walk commences at the Weinberg car park and leads to the Keltenhof, offering a unique opportunity to delve deeper into our past.

JΓΌrgen Schneider's expertise will guide participants through the archaeological walk, providing valuable insights into our prehistoric past. The walk is free for all, just like the History Day itself.

In addition to the archaeological walk, guests can enjoy a Celtic-style stew and coffee with cake, available throughout the day. For those who wish to immerse themselves further in the Celtic era, there's an option to dress in historically accurate costumes.

The Mackenzell Elementary School's parent-teacher association is supporting the museum's action, making this a community event that promises to be both educational and entertaining.

The Keltenhof, a significant archaeological site, is the perfect setting for this History Day. It's a chance to learn, explore, and appreciate our history in a fun and engaging way. So, mark your calendars for September 14th and join us at the Keltenhof for a day filled with history and camaraderie.
