In the quiet town of Weißenberg, a disturbing incident occurred on the evening of September 13, 2020, around 10:45 PM. A dispute between a dog owner and a cyclist escalated into a violent attack by the cyclist against the pedestrian.
The cyclist, who was riding a Dutch bike, attacked the pedestrian with a glass bottle, causing a head wound that required medical treatment. The cyclist then fled the scene, heading towards Weißenberger Weg, and has not been found since.
The criminal police are currently investigating the incident on suspicion of dangerous bodily harm. Witnesses described the suspect as approximately 25 to 28 years old, slim, speaking German with an accent, and wearing an orange-yellow top.
