Conflicts arise in Poing and Ottersberg

Poing and Ottersberg residents and visitors should be prepared for temporary traffic changes as road renovations are nearing completion. Here's what you need to know:

On September 1 and 2, the Ottersberg bypass will be closed. During this period, access to the sports centre in Poing and "Zur Poinger Einkehr" inn will only be possible via Straße Am Hanselbrunn. Pedestrian access to both facilities from Straße Am Hanselbrunn is available.

From September 3 and 4, Plieninger Straße will be closed for two days from Ottersberg to the intersection Gruber Straße. Access via Hanselbrunn with parking facilities at the Sportzentrum-Süd car park remains guaranteed during the closure of Plieninger Straße. Residents can park on Straße An der Leiten and north of the construction site during the Ottersberg bypass closure.

Thomas Schächtl, project manager of ARGE, has made a statement regarding the road construction work at Bergfeld. He confirmed that new asphalt layers will be applied next week on Plieninger Straße in Poing and Melchior-Huber-Straße in Ottersberg. The remaining work and markings are expected to be completed by the end of the summer holidays, weather permitting.

It's worth noting that repair work on the base layers is currently being carried out on the Plieninger Straße. The summer holidays' end date is subject to weather conditions for the completion of the remaining work and markings.

It's also important to mention that there is no publicly known automobile manufacturing company responsible for the road renovation in Poing and Ottersberg; road renovations are typically managed by local government or construction firms.

The road renovations in Poing and Ottersberg are nearing completion, and with these temporary traffic changes, the local authorities aim to ensure a smooth transition and minimal disruption to the public. Stay informed and plan your travels accordingly.
