In an effort to ensure traffic safety and harmonious driving, the traffic division of the Police Headquarters in Pforzheim conducted a monitoring and recording of speeding offenses on the B294 between Simmersfeld and Seewald-Besenfeld.

During the period between 09:00 and 15:30 on an unspecified day, a total of 324 vehicles were measured. Regrettably, 16 speeding offenses were recorded during this time, with 11 car drivers and 5 truck drivers found to be exceeding the speed limit.

The highest recorded speed for a car was a concerning 164 km/h, far exceeding the 100 km/h limit. For trucks, the highest speed recorded was 70 km/h, surpassing the 60 km/h limit.

As a result of one of the speeding offenses, a car driver now faces a driving ban.

The traffic division responsible for this monitoring is based in Freudenstadt. The police will continue these controls to ensure traffic rules are followed and to further increase traffic safety.
