The Baunsberg Community Center (STZ) is gearing up for an exciting week as they shift their focus to "colorful" animals for their summer vacation games. This event, open to 30 children, promises a fun-filled week of activities, games, and learning.

In the spirit of community engagement, the center has launched a share option on various social media platforms, including WhatsApp, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Email, Pocket, Reddit, and Tumblr. This initiative aims to spread the word about the games and the cause they support.

The proceeds from the sale of small woolly sheep hangers, which the children are currently crafting, will benefit the Sababurg animal park. These adorable handmade items will be available for purchase for a donation on Friday during a big family festival that is part of the week's events.

The games this week are themed around "The Animals of the World", a choice made by the children themselves. Last week, the focus was on "black and white" animals, with lessons about pandas, zebras, and more.

The children, divided into three groups and cared for by dedicated employees such as Daniela Becker, Monika Lieber, and Doreen Materne, have been busy painting and crafting these woolly sheep hangers.

In addition to the games and crafts, the children had a live animal encounter with three sheep, Cilly, Nellie, and Fritzi. This hands-on experience is sure to have been a highlight for the young participants.

This week's visit to the zoo in Hannover by bus is set to be an exciting outing for the children, as they continue to explore the world of "colorful" animals.
