Crime: Burglary in Theodor-Heuss Park
In an unfortunate incident last night, a 25-year-old man from Somalia was assaulted and robbed in Soest's Theodor-Heuss-Park. The news was transmitted by news aktuell from the Kreispolizeibehörde Soest.
According to the reports, the victim approached four individuals in the park to buy a cigarette. Instead, the four individuals, who are aged 19, 18 (two from Lippetal), and 40 from Soest, started assaulting the victim, punching and kicking him. An unrelated witness observed the incident and promptly called the police. Upon arrival, the Soest Police Department found four suspects matching the witness's description and temporarily arrested them. However, initially, all four suspects denied the crime.
The victim was taken to a hospital by ambulance from the Soest Central Police Station. Upon treatment, it was discovered that the victim had several bags of marijuana and amphetamines on him. This finding led to the victim's arrest due to an outstanding warrant.
